AutoShow - Baskets only show when you need them
Some people do not like to have the basket icons floating above their desktop all the time. For them we implemented "AutoShow". Simply hide the icons: click the File Viking tray icon, make sure "Show Baskets" does not have a checkmark.
Now, when File Viking detects you are dragging files, the Basket icons magically reappear.
AutoHide - Hide baskets when you don't need them
Settings for AutoHide can be changed in Options.
If you have File Viking set so it will always show its baskets (Show Baskets on the tray icon) you will sometimes find you want to drop a file on the window below the File Viking basket. Simply keep your mouse on the basket until the timeout you have set in Options lapses. The basket will hide so you can reach the window below.
Other ways to quickly hide the baskets
If you have set the Basket Double-Click action to "Hide Basket windows", simply double-click a basket to temporarily hide them all.
You can also set a keyboard shortcut (for example CTRL+SHIFT+P) to toggle the "Show Baskets" tray menu.
Another option is to move the baskets to another side of your monitor. On the Options window, configure the "Move Baskets" keyboard shortcut (for example CTRL+SHIFT+/) to quickly move all baskets to the next window position.
