FileViking Options Dialog
To open the Options window, right-click the File Viking systray icon and select Options.
The Options window enables you to control File Viking's global settings
Autorun with Windows
When selected, File Viking will automatically start when you login to Windows.
Basket Double-click Action:
What happens when you double-click a floating Basket on your desktop. The default, "Run Tasks", is useful if you are processing files in batches.
Show/Hide Baskets Shortcut:
Click in this field and press a keyboard shortcut for showing or hiding all the Baskets.
Switch off Basket animations:
When moving, showing or hiding baskets, do this instantly or not.
Prevent Basket Overlapping:
Try to prevent positioning baskets on occupied areas of your desktop.
AutoHide Baskets:
When you want to drop files on the window below a File Viking Basket, just hold your mouse still for this many seconds and the Basket will dissapear.
New Basket Position:
Shows where the Baskets will move to when you right-click the systray icon and select Next Place.
Move Basket Shortcut:
Click in this field and press a keyboard shortcut for nudging the Baskets into the next position.
