What are Actions
When you create a basket (an icon floating above your desktop). you assign one or more Actions to the basket. When you drop one or more files on such a basket, File Viking will "run" all the actions you have configured for that basket.
Below is a list of all Actions currently supported by File Viking. We plan to add a lot more Actions in future releases of File Viking. Contact us if you have a great idea!

{Tags} support
All actions support {tags}. These are special "placeholders" that are dynamically replaced by File Viking when it starts your configured actions.
For example, for the Copy Files action, instead of entering
C:\Temp\TargetDirectory
as the target folder for the copy operation, you may want to enter
C:\Temp\TargetDirectory\{yyyy}\{mm}\{dd}
and those {tags} will be replaced by values representing the current date. New directories are automatically created.
