Resize Images
This action will resize images you drop on the basket.
Name and Description:
These appear in the Basket Configuration window. It's probably best to use a short Name and save the longer explanation for the Description.
Resize by Percentage:
Use the slider to set the new size of the image. For example, set it to 50% to make images half the size of the original image.
Resize to Predefined Size:
Enter the exact number of pixels for the new Width and Height. You can leave one of those fields set to zero to let this action calculate the value automatically.
Resize Mode:
Select the algorythm to use when resizing pictures. Most of these algorythms are described on this WikiPedia page.
Target Folder:
Here you enter the path where the new image will be created. Use special {Tags} such as {yyyy} for the current year. Missing directories will be created automatically.
Overwrite Mode:
Choose what happens if an image with this name already exists.
- Ask - this will prompt you what to do.
- Overwrite - this will overwrite the existing file.
- Do not copy - this will not create the new image.
- Add Sequence to source filename - this will add a number to the new image filename.
- Add Tag to source filename - this will add {Tags} to the new image filename.
- Add Sequence to existing filename - this will add a number to the old image filename.
- Add Tag to existing filename - this will add {Tags} to the old image filename.
Rename Suffix:
If your selection for Overwrite Mode needs a Tag, you can enter the filename suffix in this field.
After Conversion Delete the Original Picture:
Select this option to remove the original file after it has been resized.
